The Brief

What the client needed.

A portrait piece that didn't feel like a corporate interview. Real character, real moments — something a chef would actually want to be in.

The Approach

How we thought about it.

Slow camera. Natural light. Two cameras rolling continuously to catch the in-between moments. We treated the kitchen like a stage and stayed out of the way until the subject forgot we were there.

The Storyboard

From sketch to frame.

Establishing

The Result

What it became.

A 6-minute portrait piece that lives on the client's site and across editorial features. Cutdowns for social — :60, :30, :15 vertical-friendly versions for Instagram and TikTok.

Most importantly: a film the subject was proud to share himself.
